Rate is $120 per session. Payment is due at time of service.
You may pay by cash, check, or credit card. I can accept health savings account cards.
If you're paying out of pocket there may be a small discount available for buying a "package" of sessions, for instance 4 for a month of therapy. There are no refunds on unused sessions bought in packages. All sessions must be used within the time period agreed upon at purchase, and will not be carried forward. Packages are NOT available if you're using insurance.
Cancelling later than 24 hours before the appointment or not showing up for an appointment will result in full charge for that session. Insurance companies do not pay for missed sessions, only you are responsible for that payment.
A note about Sliding Scale: Slots below $90 an hour are only available to households with total income of $30,000 per year and under, including non-employment income, and require an application and submission of financial documentation, such as income tax returns.

I'm in-network with Anthem BCBS, with most plans. Just call the member or customer number on the back of your insurance card and bring the numbers (for copay and deductible) they give you to your first appointment. The rate for Anthem clients (which you'll pay as you pay down your deductible) is $90. That is the contracted rate. I have no choice in this. Sliding Scale slots are not available for persons insured with Anthem.
If you're using an insurance other than Anthem you will pay me my full rate at time of service ($120), then the insurance company will reimburse you at their percentage rate. You'll have to find out from them what that is. Click here for the questions to ask your insurance company about out-of-network billing. Sliding Scale slots are not available for people who want to be reimbursed by their insurance.
