Canine Assisted Therapy
with Margaret Howard and Nya
My sweet dog Nya will be with us in therapy sessions, doing her assisting as the canine she is. Nya is a great asset to me and my patients. She's a real grounding influence, and often knows just when to comfort someone. If you're cool with dogs you'll love being in session with my co-therapist-in-training, Miss Nya. Although, if you're allergic to dogs, don't like them, or have dog-related trauma that you're not interested in using interaction with Nya to work on in a therapy setting I may not be the best fit as your therapist, as there really isn't any good option for tucking Nya away somewhere while we work.
